Use of the site

These terms apply to check-mic.com and all of its pages. Questions about them go to contact@check-mic.com.

check-mic.com is provided free of charge for personal and commercial diagnostic use. You may use the tests as often as you like. You may not resell access, present the site as your own, or attempt to disrupt its operation.

No warranty

The tests are provided as is. Measurements depend on your hardware, your browser and your operating system, and browser audio pipelines apply processing that we cannot control. Readings are diagnostic indicators, not calibrated laboratory measurements, and should not be relied upon for certification or compliance purposes.

Hearing and equipment safety

The headphone panel generates tones, including a frequency sweep that can become subjectively loud at high frequencies. Set your volume to a moderate level before starting any tone, and stop immediately if a sound is uncomfortable. You are responsible for the volume at which you play these tones and for any effect on your hearing or your equipment.

Guidance

Troubleshooting steps describe general procedures on common operating systems. Follow them at your own discretion. We are not responsible for changes you make to your system settings, drivers or hardware.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, check-mic.com is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site.
